Men's Basketball picked up their second consecutive win after powering past Arlington Baptist 82-60. The Celts would post a 44-point second half to close the door on the Patriots.

Bench play would yet again play a huge role in St. Thomas' success. They would outscore Arlington Baptist 37-28, showcasing their depth at every position. Calen Anderson would record his second straight game with double-digit rebounds (11) and would flirt with a double-double logging eight points. Andrew Nguyen would impress in his first contest at The JAAC with eight points and three assists in 17 minutes of play. Posting a game-high in assists would be Zack Golaszewski with six. The junior guard would chip in four points as well to compliment his three rebounds.

Leading all-scorers, Freddie Ricks III would record 12 points in 19 minutes of action. Cameron Gims would reach the double-digit mark in scoring for the second straight game with 10 points. He would also have eight rebounds to go with his four blocks and two steals.

The Celts would gain the lead early in the game and never surrender it for the remainder of the contest. However, a strong second half which featured the Celts shooting 30% from beyond the arc and turning Arlington Baptist over 14 times, they would pull away with an easy victory.

Men's Basketball will hit the road for a three-game road trip in the North West. They will open up with Lewis & Clark on Wednesday, November 17th at 8:00PM.
