The UST athletics department has formed a COVID-19 Return to Play Action Team. This is in accordance with recommendations from the NCAA, NATA and the SCAC. This team met and will assist with the preparation and implementation of strategies to enhance the safe return to campus for student-athletes and the staff. It will also examine the safe return of athletic activity, and align department policies with campus policies and communication of public healthcare guidelines. The SCAC created a Task Force who met for the first time to begin discussion and creation of recommendations for SCAC schools to follow. The SCAC Task Force created three sub-committees; Returning Safely Protocol, Education/PPE, and Screening and Testing. These subcommittees have 3-4 representatives focusing on those specific areas. Scott Latham is the UST Representative for this Task Force and specifically the Screening and Testing sub-committee.
