University of St. Thomas Athletics Hall of Fame 

The Athletic Department at the University of St. Thomas was founded in 2006. As the department approaches its 20thanniversary, the University of St. Thomas Athletics’ Hall of Fame will look to honor past student-athletes, coaches and any other eligible candidates who have made significant contributions to the University of St. Thomas Athletic Department. 

To be considered for this honor, “the eligible individual must achieve and/or have demonstrated traits such as sportsmanship, integrity, courage, and character, in addition to their contributions to a successful team record and/or contributions to bring honor and distinction to the University of St. Thomas; while graduation from the university is not required, the candidate must have been a regular participant in athletics and or the Celt Community; the eligible candidate must have completed all athletic responsibilities by a minimum of 5 years before induction.”

The Hall of Fame Committee shall consist of the following individuals: Director of Athletics, Senior Woman Administrator, Director of Media Relations, Facility Athletic Representative, a current Head Coach of a Men’s Team, a current Head Coach of a Women’s team, two UST letterwinners (one male one female), and one at Large member of the UST community. 

A UST Letterwinner is any former student-athlete who earns a letter for participation in a varsity sport.

Nominations will be accepted throughout the Spring; May 31st being the deadline. The Hall of Fame Committee shall gather to review nominations over the summer, with a special event for inductee/s to be hosted in the fall. The HOF Committee may decide not to have an induction ceremony if for any reason, no one meets the criteria.
