On the opening day of the UH Victoria Fall Invitational, the Celt Woman's golf team from St. Thomas University demonstrated a strong start, securing the top spot with a team score of 341. Their lead was slender, just one stroke ahead of their closest competitors.

  • Senior Trinity Le showcased a stellar performance, leading the team with a score of 82, finishing +10 over par.
  • Sophomore Regina Perez contributed with a score of 89, putting her at +17 over par.
  • Freshman Emma Koch posted a score of 87, finishing her round at +15 over par.
  • Senior Juliana Hudman matched Emma Luna's score with an 86, also concluding at +14 over par.

The team's strong showing on the first day of the invitational, along with the consistent and competitive play from its members, allowed them to maintain a slight advantage over their rivals. With just one stroke separating them from the competition, the Celt Woman's golf team is well-positioned to continue their impressive performance in the upcoming rounds of the tournament.
