Women's Golf tee'd off at the Schreiner Spring Invitational this Monday morning. After one round of competition, the Celts currently sit in fifth place, the highest of any SCAC golf program.
The Celts are led by Trinity Le, who is tied for 10th place. Le shot a 78 (+6) and is the highest-placing SCAC golfer at the tournament. Next, Juliana Hudman is tied for 19th place with another golfer after firing an 81 (+9) in round one. Myra Truong rounded out the top three golfers for the Celts as she carded an 83 (+11) on the day to lock in 23rd place.
Emma Luna was the fourth placing 27th place after firing 84 (+12) on the day. Finally, the last Celt in the competition was Regina Perez who placed 39th shooting 90 (+18) in the opening round.
At the end of day one, the Celts currently have +38 strokes, which puts them at fifth place.
