UNIVERSITY OF ST. THOMAS FAN POLICY
The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) and its member institutions may create and facilitate their own spectator policies for athletic events specific to their ability to safely accommodate visitors on their campus in the context of the current COVID-19 pandemic. This adjusted policy will go into effect for all UST SCAC athletic events beginning on Wednesday, September 1st.
- The University of St. Thomas does not have a mask and social distancing mandate on campus. Spectators will be allowed to attend indoor and outdoor home athletic events; but will adhere to individual facility policies and guidelines where UST home events are taking place
- Indoor events- Masks are not required but are strongly recommended.
- Outdoor events- Masks are not required. However, UST Athletic events are often held at off-campus venues, all spectators must adhere to facility policies.
- Spectators are asked not to interact with competing student-athletes before or during an athletic event. When the competition concludes, spectators will be able to engage with competing student-athletes away from the venue.
- These guidelines have been developed to comply with regulations set forth by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and UST Athletic Department. UST reserves the right to adjust these policies at any time to comply with the recommendations and regulations of public health authorities or any athletic and academic governing bodies.
