ROUND ROCK, TX- St. Thomas Women's Golf team sits in first place after the opening round of the Linda Lowery Invitational. The Celts posted a +29 team score, tying with East Texas Baptist at the top of the leaderboard.

Leading the way for St. Thomas, Leah Torres delivered a strong performance, finishing the day in first place individually with a +3 round. Emma Cook and Regina Garcia Perez followed closely behind, both carding a +7 to sit tied for sixth place. Cameron Frazier wrapped up the day tied for ninth at +9, while Emma Koch finished 11th with a +10 score. Xiadani Islas, competing individually, recorded a +20, placing her 21st overall.
