Women's Golf opened their 2022 spring season at the Claud Jacobs Invitational in Victoria, Texas at The Club at Colony Creek. The Celts were off to a hot-start after the opening round but would fall to fifth place after the final day of action. Sophomore Trinity Le would pace St. Thomas, finishing tied for 12th place overall while carding an 81 in both rounds.
Juliana Hudman would lead the Celts after day one, shooting six over par, placing her in sixth place overall. With nearly all golfers shooting low for St. Thomas, they would hold a four stroke lead over Ranger College and Houston Victoria.
As a whole the Celts would shoot 19 strokes higher than their opening round, slipping to fifth place to finish play.
St. Thomas will hit the links again on February 28th when they compete in The Lidlifter Invitational in Kingwood, Texas.
