Women's Golf Competes at Day 1 of Alamo City Classic

On Day 1 and in Round 1 of the Alamo City Classic, the St. Thomas Celt Women's Golf team put up a competitive effort, finishing the day with a combined score of +36 (320 320), good for fifth place. Here's a recap of the individual performances:

Individual Performances:

  • Trinity Le (T10, +6): Trinity had a strong showing, finishing in a tie for 10th place with a score of 77 (+6). She recorded a birdie on hole 13 and secured 10 pars during her round.

  • Emma Luna (T10, +6): Emma Luna also tied for 10th place, matching Trinity's score of 77 (+6). She recorded a birdie on hole 2 and achieved 10 pars, displaying consistent play.

  • Regina Perez (T21, +11): Regina Perez posted a score of 82 (+11) and secured 8 pars during her round, positioning herself in a tie for 21st place.

  • Emma Cook (T29, +13): Emma Cook recorded a score of 84 (+13) with 7 pars, finishing in a tie for 29th place.

  • Emma Koch (T31, +15): Emma Koch posted a score of 86 (+15) with 7 pars, landing her in a tie for 31st place.

Overall, the St. Thomas Celt Women's Golf team showed determination and solid play during Day 1 of the Alamo City Classic. Trinity Le and Emma Luna led the way with their top-10 finishes, and the team's collective effort positions them for continued competition in the tournament. As the tournament progresses, they have the opportunity to build on their performance and climb up the leaderboard.
