Women's Basketball came out firing against Centenary and won the game 68-57. At the game's conclusion, the Celt's senior class of CeBriaya Bell, Hayden Morin, and Micayla Hamilton were honored.

From the opening tip, the Celts took control of the game. Centenary never led within the first quarter, as they only made a measly 21% of their shots. On the flip side, St. Thomas landed 50% of their field goals for 22 points in 10 minutes. In the second quarter, the Celts only added to their lead. Making three threes powered a 23-point second quarter as St. Thomas ended the first half up 45-25 with the largest lead being 23 at one minute remaining. 

In the third quarter, St. Thomas only added to their lead as the period began. Centenary did their best to get back in the game, however the Celt lead seemed to large to come back from, as they ended the quarter up 54-37. Then in the fourth, the Ladies tried to claw their way back into the game, however the Celt lead was too much to come back from as the final score ended up being 68-57.

With this win, St. Thomas slides into sixth place in the SCAC Women's Basketball standings. Top six qualify for the tournament, so St. Thomas looks to hang on as they await the final standings this weekend. Follow UST athletics for all scores and updates.
