Women's basketball fell against the University of Dallas in the SCAC battle this Saturday night. Unable to generate much scoring offense, the Celts fell to the Crusaders 73-41. 

In the first quarter, St. Thomas struggled to score points only adding seven this period. They also committed six turnovers which Dallas capitalized on in their 16-point performance. In the second quarter, the Crusader offense exploded for 21 points, as the Celts found themselves in a 37-15 hole at halftime. 

From the opening tip of the third quarter, Dallas continued to add to their score which only halted any chance at a Celt Comeback, shooting 44% from the floor to just St. Thomas' 24%. Then with 52 rebounds in the game, Dallas was able to add 14 second-chance points to add to their lead.

With this loss, women's basketball is now 5-9 in the conference, this is currently 7th place in the SCAC. With the top six teams qualifying for the SCAC tournament, the Celts are fighting for the last spot with two games remaining.
