A native of Cypress, Texas, Coach Wesneski played high school baseball at Cy Fair High School under Head Coach Billy Hardin. While pitching for the Bobcats, Wesneski and his squad made the playoffs in three of his four seasons. After that, he committed to start his collegiate career at Navarro College, before coming home to play for Sam Houston State University. As a four-year member of the Bearkats, Wesneski appeared in 45 games totaling 104.1 innings. In those games, he achieved 6 wins and 83 strikeouts. He was also named WAC Pitcher of the Week after a stellar outing against Tarleton State, striking out a career-high 10 batters while issuing zero walks. After graduating in 2022 with a criminal justice degree, Wesneki became an assistant coach at Episcopal High School prior to coming to UST. With these experiences, Coach Wesneski is excited to begin his collegiate coaching career at the University of St. Thomas.
