Hendrix took control of the game in the second and third innings, with Zach Marriott's groundout and Adam Bland's double driving in runs to put them ahead 4-1.

The fifth inning saw Hendrix extend their lead significantly, with Ian Guthrie's double and Owen Shaw's single contributing to a four-run surge, pushing the score to 8-1.

Hendrix continued to pour on the offense in the sixth inning, with Drake Job and Owen Shaw delivering RBI hits to widen the gap to 11-1.

St. Thomas (Tex.) struggled to mount a comeback against Hendrix's pitching, with David Blackburn delivering an impressive performance on the mound, allowing only one run over six innings of work.
