Men's Tennis Falls 6-3 to Schreiner

In a closely contested match against the Schreiner Mountaineers, the St. Thomas Celts men's tennis team faced a challenging 6-3 defeat.

The doubles matches began with Jamie O'Shea and Pooya Tork falling short with a score of 8-4 on Line One. However, Zhanlue Kuang and Hunter Kemball-Cook fought hard and secured a narrow 8-7 victory on Line Two. Unfortunately, Ruben Reyes & Diego Guzman encountered difficulties and lost with a score of 8-5 on Line Three.

Moving into singles play, the Celts continued to face tough opposition. Zhanlue Kuang fought hard but ultimately fell with scores of 6-3, 7-6 on Line One. Jamie O Shea showcased resilience in a three-set battle on Line Two, ultimately securing victory with scores of 3-6, 6-1, 10-7 in the tiebreaker. Pooya Tork faced a tough match on Line Three, falling with scores of 6-3, 6-3, while Hunter Kemball Cook displayed determination and secured a hard-fought victory with scores of 6-3, 7-6 (3) on Line Four. Ruben Reyes encountered difficulties and fell with scores of 6-2, 6-2 on Line Five, while Diego Guzman fought hard in another three-set battle, ultimately losing with scores of 2-6, 6-0, 1-6 on Line Six.

Overall, the St. Thomas Celts men's tennis team demonstrated determination and effort, but was unable to overcome the Schreiner Mountaineers, facing a challenging 6-3 defeat in the match.
