The St. Thomas Celt Women's Track Team delivered outstanding performances at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational, setting new school records and achieving remarkable results across multiple events. Here's a recap of the key highlights:

  1. Sophia Sanchez and Samantha Hernandez - Women's 5000m (School Records)

    • Sophia Sanchez set a new school record with an impressive time of 19:15.42 in the Women's 5000m event. Samantha Hernandez also achieved a new personal best, crossing the line with a time of 19:46.61. Their performances showcased their endurance and determination on the track.
  2. Sophie Delgado - 400m Hurdles (School Record)

    • Sophie Delgado lowered her own school record in the Women's 400m Hurdles, achieving a remarkable time of 1:06.55. Delgado's performance highlighted her skill and technique in hurdling events.
  3. Makayla Powell - 400m Hurdles (Personal Best)
