Men's Tennis Drops Match to UMHB 7-2

In a challenging match against Mary Hardin-Baylor, the St. Thomas tennis team faced a tough 2-7 defeat.

The doubles matches started off with a strong showing from Mary Hardin-Baylor, with Jamie O'Shea and Pooya Tork falling 1-8 on Line One. Despite a close battle, Zhanlue Kuang and Dorian Cudina narrowly won 8-7 on Line Two, while Hunter-Kemball Cook and Jeremiah Hoover faced a tough 7-8 defeat on Line Three.

Moving into singles play, Zhanlue Kuang fought hard but ultimately fell short with scores of 1-6, 3-6 on Line One. Jamie O'Shea showed resilience with a close match, winning the first set 6-4 but narrowly losing the second set and tiebreaker with scores of 4-7, 6-7 on Line Two. Pooya Tork encountered tough opposition and fell in straight sets with scores of 0-6, 0-6 on Line Three. Hunter-Kemball Cook faced a tough match, falling with scores of 1-6, 3-6 on Line Four. However, Dorian Cudina displayed strong performance, securing a win on Line Five with scores of 6-0, 6-2. Ruben Reyes encountered a tough opponent and fell in straight sets with scores of 0-6, 4-6 on Line Six.

Overall, despite some strong individual performances, the St. Thomas tennis team was unable to overcome Mary Hardin-Baylor, facing a 2-7 defeat in the match.
