Kapyamba Highlights Celts at SFA Carl Knight Invitational

The St. Thomas Celt Men's Track and Field Team delivered outstanding performances at the SFA Karl Knight Invitational, achieving personal bests and setting new school records in multiple events. Here's a recap of the key highlights:

  1. 1500m (Personal Best)

    • Marc Mendoza achieved a personal best time of 4:10.07 in the 1500m event, showcasing his endurance and determination on the track.
  2. 100m (School Record)

    • Kashala Kapyamba set a new school record in the 100m event with an impressive time of 10.82. Kapyamba's record-breaking performance also earned him 4th place in the SCAC. Jason Crampton achieved a personal best time of 11.02, ranking 9th in the conference, showcasing his speed and talent in sprinting events.
  3. 200m (Personal Bests)

    • Jason Crampton delivered an outstanding performance in the 200m event, achieving a personal best time of 22.39. Terrence also achieved a personal best time of 22.73 in the 200m, highlighting the team's depth and talent in sprinting events.
