Roselinda Cantu joined the University of St. Thomas family in August, 2011, as UST’s Athletics Administrative Assistant. Cantu assists the Athletic Director and coaches with creating and maintaining records and schedules, team travel, budgets, and office duties and responsibilities applicable to the day-to-day business.
Cantu came to UST after retiring with 15 years of service at Rice University. While at Rice, Cantu served first as an Administrative Assistant to the Senior Associate Athletic Director and then Executive Assistant to the Athletic Director.
Roselinda and her husband, Manuel Cantu, Jr., live in Rosharon, Texas. They have two sons, Anthony (wife Sabra) and Manuel III (wife Eloisa), and seven grandchildren, Alessandra, Elijah, Noah, Miriam, Xavier, Maylene and Jaxon. Her son Anthony graduated from UST in 2002.
