Men's Golf in Fourth After Day 1 of John Bohmann Invitational

The UST Men's Golf Team showcased their skills in Rounds 1 and 2 at the John Bohmann Memorial Invitational, where they competed on a challenging par-71 course. Here's a summary of their performances over the two rounds:

Round 1:

In the opening round, the UST team displayed consistency, with all five players shooting scores in the low 70s. Marshall Hatcher stood out as the top performer for the team, carding an impressive score of 71, which was even-par for the course. This solid start laid a strong foundation for the team's overall performance.

Round 2:

In Round 2, the UST team continued to demonstrate their skill and determination. Marshall Hatcher once again delivered a stellar performance, shooting another 71, while the rest of the team maintained their consistency with scores in the low 70s.

UST Men's Golf Team showcased their competitive spirit and strong teamwork throughout the tournament, resulting in a total team score of 579 after Rounds 1 and 2. This impressive performance placed them fourth overall in the standings, behind SCAC foe Southwestern and Trinity. 

Jason Roettgers and Lawson Fiscus also competed as individuals. Roettgers carded a 74 and 75 for 149 total, and Fiscus a 76 and 74 for a 150 total. 

As the tournament progresses, all eyes will be on St. Thomas (Texas) as they aim to build on their strong start and compete for the top spot in the John Bohmann Invitational. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting golf tournament!
