Men's Golf Finishes Fifth at Schreiner Spring Shootout

Men's Golf fell to fifth place after the final round of action at the Schreiner Spring Shootout. 

 

Cade Kiser led the way for the Celts finishing 11th place, improving his score on day two for a 76. He ended with ten strokes over par across both rounds.

 

Following him was Jonathan Miller at 12th, who was competitive with a 79 this round to tie with three other golfers. Patrick Smetek carded an 83 on day two. Combined with his day one score, Smetek finished 24th, shooting fourteen over par. 

 

As the tournament concluded, Henry Phavorachit carded an 82 at plus ten over par to lock in 31st place. 

 

Freshman Greg Dupont kept his score consistent to yesterday, landing at 40th place. 

 

After a challenging 18 holes for round two, St. Thomas finished fifth, seven strokes ahead of Trinity University. 

 

Men's Golf hits the links on March 27th at the Linda Lowery Invitational in Austin, Texas.
