Kiser and Miller lead Day 1 of Tempest Intercollegiate

Men's Golf had a strong showing on day one of the competitive Tempest Intercollegiate. The Celts were led by Jonathan Miller and Cade Kiser who are tied for third place individually.

Cade Kiser had an impressive opening round, which saw him shoot just one over par, which actually had him tied for first. He had three birdies in his impressive run which helped St. Thomas' team score. Jonathan Miller had a rough start carding six bogeys in his opening round, yet he rebounded for a stellar round two. Through 15 holes he has five birdies to propel him from 17th to third place. Rounding out the top three finishers for the Celts Patrick Smetek constantly improved his score on the day to card four over par and finish 37th place. Henry Phavorachit, Cameron Curtis, and Tram Le also competed for St. Thomas to score 310 overall.

With all scores combined, St. Thomas currently sits at fifth place, just 11 points behind first. Be sure to follow their scores for day two here!
