Individual Performances Power Men's Golf at Lidlifter Classic

Men's golf finished the Lidlifter Classic today in Kingwood Texas. At the conclusion of the final round, St. Thomas finished eighth place, despite very impressive individual performances. 

Cade Kiser led all Celt golfers and finished tied for fifth place, up seven from yesterday, firing a final round of 73 (+1) on the day. This was the best score of any SCAC golfer at the tournament. Kiser finished the tournament with five birdies total, tied for fourth in the entire tournament. Cameron Curtis fired a 77 (+5) in the final round to lock in 25th place finish. Curtis and Kiser shot a tournament high 26 pars against a field of 66 golfers.

Henry Phavorachit improved his round one score and fired a 80 (+8) in the final round. Henry kept himself in the race with two birdies and 19 total pars in the tournament to contribute to St. Thomas' team score.

Both Patrick Smetek and Jonathan Miller had an identical final round shooting 84 (+12) in the final 18 holes. Miller tied kiser for fourth most birdies in the tournament at five, and Smetek shot three to stay competitive amongst other golfers.

Jackson Murff also competed for the Celts and improved his round two score by six strokes and fired an 82 (+10) on day two. 

As a team, the Celts shot +10 as a whole on par three scoring holes. 

When the scores were compiled, St. Thomas finished eighth place with (+55) on the day.
