Women's Track Freshman Highlight Day Two of Texas Southern Relays

Women's Track and Field showcased their speed on the final day of the Texas Southern Relays. With many events taking place this day, the Celts were highlighted by freshman taking center stage. 

Freshman Ebonee Nation led the Celts in the 100m hurdles clocking a 15.22, her personal best. Nations time also sits her in the top ten of all Division III runners as she finished ahead of three Division One runners at the meet. 

In the 100m dash finals, Ny'Cierra Hinton and Mykler Roderique finished 7th and 8th respectively. Hinton ran the event in 13.02 seconds and Roderique was right behind her at 13.08.

Then in the 200m dash, Freshman Trinity Provost was the lone Celt as she locked in 11th place. Provost ran the event in 27.11, dusting sixteen competitors. 

Next, in the 800m run, the Celts were led by Karelann Skinner. Skinner secured 11th place at 2:31.29 and beat a Divison One runner. Not far behind was Victoria Ramirez who clocked 2:44.37 and finished 15th place. 

Lastly, the 1500m was led by Elizabeth Stepaniak as she clocked 5:27.77 to finish 20th place.
