Women's Track and Field began the Victor Lopez Classic this Friday night. The Celts had a quiet night, competing in just two events to open the event.

In the 1500m run, the Celts had six runners in the race. Ashley Martinez led the Celts at 31st place clocking 5:13.87. Right behind her at 32nd was Victoria Ramirez who was less than a second behind Martinez at 5:14.55. Then in 33rd was Ana Luna as she finished with a time of 5:17.53.

Next, Sophia Sanchez locked in 36th place at 5:21.32, paired with Hailey Perez at 37th finishing in 5:21.42. Lastly Elizabeth Stepaniak placed 41st clocking 5:34.69.

Then in the 5k race, Samantha Hernandez locked in 18th place by pacing herself with 20:15.39.
