Women's Track Opens Spring at McNeese Invitational

The St. Thomas Celt Women's Track Team delivered impressive performances at the McNeese Invitational, showcasing their talent and determination. Here's a recap of the notable results:

Elyssa Rodarte secured a commendable 4th place in the mile with a time of 5:55.64. Her strong effort and competitive performance contributed to the team's overall success.

In the 400m, Christina Stinson claimed the 4th position with an impressive time of 1:00.81. Additionally, in the 200m, Stinson secured the 13th place with a time of 27.28. Her versatility in sprinting events added valuable points to the team's overall score.

Trinity Provost exhibited her skills in both the 400m and 200m events. She finished the 400m race with a time of 1:02.52, showcasing her speed and endurance. In the 200m, Provost claimed the 11th position with a time of 27.16, contributing significantly to the team's performance.

Karelann Skinner achieved a remarkable 10th place in the 800m event, setting a new school record with a time of 2:29.90. Her outstanding performance, breaking the previous record by 4 seconds, highlighted her dedication and the team's commitment to excellence.
