Softball wrapped up its three game series with #3 Texas Lutheran. After seven hard fought innings, the Celt ultimately dropped game three 4-1.

Neither team wanted to give each other an inch in the first three innings of play as both St. Thomas and Texas Lutheran were shut out. It wasn't until the bottom of the fourth when Texas Lutheran got on the scoreboard, scoring three runs to put the Celts in a 3-0 deficit. From there, they added one more run of insurance in the fifth as they shutout out the Celts. With the score now 4-0, St. Thomas was looking for a spark on offense, and they got it with a leadoff home run in the top of the seventh from Adelyn Beccera. This cut the score to 4-1, but the Celts were unable to capitalize and ultimately lost the game by the same score.
