Men's Track Wraps Up Texas Southern Relays

Men's Track and Field ran hard at day two of the Texas Southern Relays. With a plethora of events on this day, the Celts were competitive amongst a variety of competitors. 

Kicking off events for the Celts was the very close Men's 200m, headlined by Bryce McIntyre. McIntyre ran the event in a speed 22.42 and finished 13th, and less than a second behind first place. Behind him was Eduardo Waller who finished 23rd at 23.10, and lastly Matthew Hicks set his personal best at 23.59 to lock in 30th place. 

Next, in the Men's 800m run, Marc Mendoza the Celts finishing 15th place at 2:09.39. Right behind him was Will Brisco at 16th as he clocked 2:10.25. 

In the Men's 4x100, the Celt foursome of Makale Mingo, Jacolby Mattox, Kashala Kapyamba, and Victor Davis finished sixth clocking 43.17, and ahead of a Divison One program. 

In distance events, the 1500m run was highlighted by Drew Cunningham setting his personal record at 4:23.32 to finish 17th place.
