Celt Women's Tennis Competitive Against Concordia in Loss

In a hard-fought battle, the St. Thomas Celts women's tennis team faced a 6-3 loss against the Concordia Tornadoes. The doubles matches set the stage for the competition, with Anamaria Gonzalez & Karissa Guzman falling 8-4 on Line One, Lucia Rodriguez & Ella Mullins narrowly losing 8-6 on Line Two, and Nataly Velasco & Aimee Tran facing an 8-4 defeat on Line Three.

Moving into singles play, Anamaria Gonzalez showed resilience on Line One, winning Sets 1 and 3 with scores of 6-3 and 10-6, respectively, but unfortunately lost Set 2 with a score of 4-6. Lucia Rodriguez also demonstrated strong determination, winning Sets 2 and 3 on Line Two with scores of 6-4 and 11-9, after dropping Set 1 with a score of 7-5. Ella Mullins secured a victory for the Celts on Line Three with a solid performance, winning 6-3, 6-3.

However, the Celts faced tough challenges in the remaining singles matches. Karissa Guzman fell 6-4, 6-2 on Line Four, Aimee Tran encountered a 7-5, 6-1 defeat on Line Five, and Nataly Velasco fell short with a score of 6-2, 6-2 on Line Six.

Overall, despite some strong individual performances, the St. Thomas Celts were unable to secure the win against the Concordia Tornadoes.
