Women's tennis showed promise against a tough St. Mary's University (DII) squad in both doubles and singles.

The Celts started off hot with the dynamic duo of Ana Maria Gonzales and Alejandra Lopez. They would compete hard, taking the first game off the rattlers, and then again to tie it at 3 apiece before ultimately falling. Fast starts would be a theme for the Celts as Alyssia Davila and Karissa Guzman would take a quick 2-1 lead before dropping the remaining sets. 

In singles, Regina Lopez would also showcase her skills and make her opponent's fight for their victory.

The Celts continue their season on February 19th against Texas Lutheran to open up Conference play.
