SAN ANTONIO, TX- Men's Tennis continued their tough opening stretch with a double header against Division One opponent, Incarnate Word. 

In the opening match, the singles competition was highlighted by Juanrodrigo Lopez, Dorian Cudina and Race Haas. They would keep things close with their opponents, taking points off them early before ultimately falling in later sets. 

As for doubles, Race Haas and Tyler Head would have a standout performance. This duo would give Incarnate Word everything they could handle, falling the tiebreaker, 9-7. 

The second match saw the tide turn to the Cardinals' favor. Carson Steele would showcase his skills and take points early in singles, before Incarnate Word would get hot and snap all St. Thomas momemtum. 

Similar to match one, doubles were highlighted by Race Haas and Tyler Head. The pair would show promise early, taking 3 rounds in the set, before Incarnate Word took the match. 

With the completion of these games, Men's Tennis will open up SCAC conference play against Texas Lutheran on February 19th at Memorial Park Tennis Center.
