The doubles matches kicked off the competition, with Jamie O'Shea and Pooya Tork securing a hard-fought victory on Line One with a score of 8-7. However, the Celts faced tough opposition on Lines Two and Three, with Zhanlue Kuang and Dorian Cudina falling 7-8 and Hunter Kemball-Cook and Jeremiah Hoover encountering an 8-1 defeat.
Moving into singles play, Zhanlue Kuang fought hard on Line One but ultimately fell short with scores of 6-1, 6-3. Jamie O'Shea faced a tough match on Line Two, falling 6-2, 6-1. Pooya Tork showed determination on Line Three, winning Set 1 with a score of 6-4 but unfortunately lost Sets 2 and 3 with scores of 6-0 and 10-3.
Hunter Kemball-Cook encountered a tough opponent on Line Four, falling 6-0, 6-1. Dorian Cudina faced a close battle on Line Five, but ultimately fell with scores of 7-6, 6-3. Jeremiah Hoover fought hard on Line Six but was unable to secure the win, falling with scores of 6-2, 6-4.
