Men's Tennis played against Letourneau this Monday afternoon on their senior day. After a full day of singles and doubles action, the Celts won 7-2. Before the first serve, the Celt Tennis senior class of Jace Ware, Tyler Head, Carson Steele, Rodrigo Yoshikata, and Race Haas were honored.

In doubles, Rodrigo Yoshikata and Jace Ware started the Celts day off right taking their match 8-6. Then in line two, Tyler Head and Race Haas after falling behind early, came back and won a thriller 8-6. Lastly, Hunter-Kemball Cook and Carson Steele got in a close one in line three but ultimately fell 8-6. When doubles finished, the Celts led 2-1 heading into singles.

In line one singles, Rodrigo Yoshikata had a clutch performance. After dropping the opening set 7-6 he took the second one 6-2. Then in the tiebreak he won easily 10-5 to secure the victory. Tyler Head played in line two taking his match 6-2, 6-4, and Race Haas' victory in line three was enough to get the win as he won 6-3, 6-3. Adding to the Celts stellar day was Jace Ware in line four taking his game 6-3 and 6-0. Finally, rounding out the wins for St. Thomas was Carson Steele who showcased his dominance taking his matches 6-1, 6-1.
