Men's Tennis opened their season hosting the reigning Southland Conference champions in Texas A&M Corpus Christi. The Islanders would blank the Celts in their doubleheader but strong performances were displayed across the board.

St. Thomas was able to showcase their play in doubles, as Race Hass and Jace Ware, as well as Juanrodrigo Lopez and Tyler Head would battle till the very end.

In singles, Juanrodrigo Lopez, Tyler Head and Dorian Cudina would make their Islander opponent work for the victory. Lopez, in line one, Head in line two, and Cudina in line four, would each take three games throughout their match.

The Celts will head to San Antonio for a weekend slate of matches with St. Mary's and Incarnate Word.
