Men's Tennis continued SCAC play today against Schreiner University. After nine hard-fought contests, the Celts were edged 5-4.
In doubles, Rodrigo Yoshikata and Jace Ware started off hot taking the top line in a close one 8-6. Then Tyler Head and Race Haas dominated their opponent winning 8-2. Lastly Carson Steele and Hunter-Kemball Cook dropped the last match of doubles 8-6.
Continuing his great weekend, Rodrigo Yoshikata took his line one match 7-6, and 6-3. Then in line two, Tyler Head's match went all the way to three sets before he ultimately fell 6-4 in the deciding set. In line four, Jace Ware saw an opposite result as he won his deciding set by dominating 6-0. This would unfortunately be all the Celt wins, as the Mountaineers gave St. Thomas all they could handle and secured a close 5-4 victory.
