IRVING, Texas- St. Thomas women's basketball team picked up another conference win, defeating the University of Dallas 77-53 on the road. With this victory, the Celts improved to 7-9 overall and 5-4 in the SCAC.

The opening minutes saw an intense back-and-forth battle, with both teams exchanging baskets. The first quarter ended in a 14-14 tie. In the second quarter, the Celts began to gain momentum after a three-pointer by Kenna Gibson and a jumper from Macie Whitfield, putting them ahead 22-17. However, the Crusaders responded with a pair of free throws and a three-pointer to tie the game at 25. Dallas went on a brief run, taking a 31-29 lead, but Ravyn Ellis' layup in the final minute brought UST back even at 31-31 heading into halftime.

The second half belonged to the Celts. St. Thomas came out determined, quickly regaining the lead with key baskets from Nora Aigberadion and a three-pointer from Amber Bourgeois. Though Dallas fought to stay close, UST continued to extend the lead, going up 45-37. Once they took control, the Celts never looked back, holding the Crusaders to just 22 points over the final two quarters. UST shot 38% from the field and delivered a dominant defensive performance to seal the win.

Leading the charge was Ravyn Ellis, who had an outstanding night with 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting, including 3 three-pointers. Kenna Gibson added 19 points while grabbing 5 rebounds, while Nora Aigberadion contributed 7 points and 6 rebounds, adding a crucial inside presence. Audrey Hernandez led the team in rebounding with 9 boards, and Kareena Aragon contributed 4 points and five rebounds off the bench.
