
Women's Basketball fell to 0-2 in SCAC play after their loss to the Tigers. Despite a strong first quarter the Tigers were able to take control of the game.
Both teams opened up the game on fire as quick buckets from Taytum Poppe and Audrey Hernandez help put St. Thomas on top 7-5. Both teams continued their hot streaks as a jumper from Hayden Morin closed out the first quarter with the Celts down just one 17-16. From the start of the second quarter it was all Trinity as they would go on a 24-6 run to open the quarter pushing their lead 41-22 as halftime closed in. To open up the third quarter trinity would start on fire again and go on a 15-5 run to expand their lead to 26. Trinity would continue to add fire to their flame as they would go on to win the game 82-40.
Offensively Amber Bourgeois lead the Celts with seven off the bench and Taytum Poppe, Nia Mcgee, Hayden Morin, and Audrey Hernandez all scored six.
