Urbina and the Celts Shine at Celt Opener

The University of St. Thomas Men's Cross Country team made a resounding statement at the Celt Opener Meet, demonstrating their exceptional talent and competitive spirit. The meet featured intense competition, but it was James Urbina who stole the spotlight with a remarkable first-place finish, setting the tone for the team's performance.

James Urbina, a senior, showcased his incredible determination and speed as he crossed the finish line in an impressive time of 15:36. His exceptional performance not only earned him the top spot in the race but also served as a strong start to his senior year.

Joining Urbina in representing the University of St. Thomas were several other outstanding athletes who contributed to the team's overall success. Jhancarlos Carpio and Marc Mendoza, both juniors, delivered solid performances, finishing in 15:51 and 16:05, respectively. Diego Moya, representing the St. Thomas team, also impressed with a time of 16:25.
