Celts Deliver Strong Performances at FasTrak Invite

HOUSTON, TX-St. Thomas men's track team wrapped up their final indoor meet in Houston with an impressive showing at the FasTrak Invitational, held at Yeomen Fieldhouse. This meet marked key improvements and setting strong times across multiple events.

Osvaldo Jasso led the Celts in the mile, clocking a season-best 4:36.26. In the 60m, Ethan Ladipo finished in 7.19, while Jason Crampton and Chris Releford both notched their fastest times of the season at 7.21. Josh Martinez impressed in the 400m, running 52.97, and Juan Silva delivered a strong effort in the 800m with a time of 2:02.62.

One of the standout events of the day came in the 200m, where four Celts broke the 23-second mark. Bryce McIntyre led the charge with a 22.33, followed by Terrence Veal's lifetime-best 22.51. Ethan Ladipo ran 22.54, while Jason Crampton rounded out the group with a 22.96.

"Stellar performance from the men and women today. It was a great opportunity to compete against conference opponents, and the team handled the challenge very well," said Head Coach Jarrick Wright.
