HOUSTON,TX- St. Thomas men's track team wrapped up Day 2 of the Robert Platt Invitational with impressive performances, highlighted by a school record and multiple top program marks.
Matthew Hicks made history in the high jump, clearing 2.00 meters to set a new program record. His jump not only secured a top finish but also places him tied for 20th in the nation, making him a strong contender on the national stage.
On the track, Brenden Andrews delivered a strong race in the 600-yard run, finishing 10th overall with a time of 1:18.18. In the 800m. Cristian Rios continued his steady improvement, running 2:02.66 to move up to 5th all-time in program history.
Ethan Ladipo continued to impress in his first collegiate season, clocking 22.85 in the 200m. His time now ranks 3rd in program history and shows his growing potential in the sprint events.
