The University of St. Thomas Men's Basketball program released their 2021-22 schedule which features a total of 27 contest, 16 of which are conference matchups.
The Celts will open their season on the road in Marshall, Texas as they take on regional foe, East Texas Baptist University on Novemeber 11th. Fans will get to Pack The JAAC for Men's Basketball's first home game on Saturday, November 13th at 7:00PM as the Celts host Arlington Baptist. This contest will be the homecoming game and the University will be unveiling the 2020 & 2021 SCAC championship banners.
The Celts are coming off a 2020 season in which they won the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament, posting an 11-4 record. They are returning their entire starting five which includes back-to-back SCAC Defensive Player of the year, Cameron Gims, SCAC Newcomer of the Year, Adam Kanafani and all-conference performers Juan Hood, Christian Alaekwe and Joshua Sanchez.
