HOUSTON, TX- Women's Soccer has been picked to finish sixth in this year's Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Celts received 22 points after posting a 2-6-0 record last season.
The Tigers of Trinity University were the unanimous favorites after sweeping through the SCAC last season; Followed by Dallas, Southwestern, Centenary and Texas Lutheran.
The Celts showed promise to wrap up the 2020-21 season, as their offense started to click in 2-1 victory over Austin College. UST will return 19 players from last season's squad, including two All-Conference players in Goal Keeper, Carmen Lozada and Defender, Riley Keck.
St. Thomas will open their 2021-22 season September 1st at AVEVA Stadium against Howard Payne University.
