Lozada was huge in net as the Celts secured their first SCAC win of the year, defeating Schreiner, 1-0, at home last Saturday. She recorded seven saves and was relied on heavily as UST played the final ten minutes of the contest with just 10 men following a red card in the 80th minute.

 

"It is an honor to be named defensive player of the week. My team and I played great to pull off a big win. I'm excited where we are going and proud that my hard work is paying off" Lozada said.

 

Lozada and the Celts will return to the pitch March 12th as they travel to Seguin for yet another SCAC battle.
