Southwestern's Riley Glenn-Millhouse delivered the final blow in the seventh inning, smashing a triple that brought in Ashtyn Aldrete, padding their lead to 3-0.

Sophia Ytuarte pitched a gem for Southwestern, going the distance and allowing only three hits while striking out three batters. On the other side, Allison Hughes pitched a complete game for St. Thomas, allowing three runs on seven hits and striking out one batter.

Southwestern's solid defense and timely hitting proved to be the difference-maker, handing St. Thomas a tough loss at the elimination stage of the SCAC Tournament.
