Lindsey Longuet, a senior pitcher from Missouri City, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for games played from Monday, April 12 through Sunday, April 18.

Longuet went a perfect 2-0 in the circle last week for the Celts, winning the open- er against Austin College on Saturday and then helped deliver a sweep for St. Thomas after getting the win in game three. She pitched two complete games, allowing just eight hits and two earned runs in 12 innings of work. Longuet struck out 11, averaging 6.42 strikeouts per seven inning and posted a 1.17 ERA.

Longuet and the Celts will travel to Seguin to take on Texas Lutheran this weekend.
