Game One: UST-5  SU-8

After a Mallarie Munson RBI single would drive in Mia Terry to give the Celts the quick 1-0 lead, they would soon fall behind after a two-run first inning by Southwestern. Munson would yet again knock in a run to knot the contest up at two a piece in the third frame. The very next inning, UST would take the lead with Mia Terry's timely RBI triple.

The Pirates would re-claim their lead with an explosive fifth inning where they dropped four runs. Their bats would stay hot in the sixth inning, adding two more runs to their total.

A seventh-inning two-run homerun from Munson would cut their deficit to three, however the Pirates would hold on and steal the first game of the doubleheader.     

Despite the defeat, Mallarie Munson would have herself a day, going a perfect four-for-four with four RBIs and a home run.

Game Two: UST-3  SU-0

Unlike the opener of this doubleheader, this contest saw less offense and more defense from both units. Despite the Celts having opportunities in the second and third innings, the game would remain scoreless until the fifth inning.

With bases loaded, Emma Garrett would step up to the plate and deliver with a monumental, bases-clearing double to give UST all three of their runs.

After taking the lead, Lindsey Longuet and the Celts defense would only surrender three hits this rest of the game as they would roll onto the 3-0 victory and take the series over Southwestern.

The Celts advance to 12-3 in SCAC play and currently sit in second place. They will return home for their final series next Saturday and Sunday,['w when they face the Austin College Lady Kangaroos.
