Lindsey Longuet, senior pitcher from Missouri City, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for games played from Monday, March 29 through Sunday, April 4.

Longuet was spectacular in the circle for the Celts last weekend as UST swept UDallas in a three-game series. She went 2-0 with two complete game shutouts, including a no-hitter in the Celts, 8-0, win last Friday to close out the series. In 13 total innings of work, Longuet struck out 16 batters, allowed just two hits and posted a 0.00 ERA.

"It's great to be named pitcher of the week for the second time after this weekend's sweep" Longuet said. "It was a terrific team effort that allowed me to achieve this weeks' award."

The Celts will return to action this weekend when they travel to Georgetown to take on Southwestern University.
