
SAN ANTONIO, TX- St. Thomas men's golf team wrapped up their TPC Shootout journey in 4th place, with a team score of +40. The Celts entered the final round in a competitive position but faced challenges in the third round that tested their consistency and endurance. Despite a strong second round where they shot even par, the team couldn't close the gap on the leaders, finishing behind Redlands (+20), Southwestern (TX) (+22), and Texas Lutheran (+32).
Antonio Ramirez led the Celts at the TPC Shootout, finishing 6th overall with a +6 (71-73-76). His steady play, including a 1-over first round, solidified his role as a top competitor for St. Thomas. Jesus Del Aguila followed, placing 14th at +9 (76-73-76), with a strong +1 in Round 2. Marshall Hatcher showed resilience, finishing 19th at +11 (76-71-80), highlighted by a 1-under second round.
Cameron Curtis (26th, +13) and Landon Chau added depth to the team's effort, showcasing the Celts' collective strength and determination as they prepare for their next event.
