HOUSTON – The University of St. Thomas Men's Golf team wrapped up their final round at the Space City Classic, securing a third-place finish with a +27 total. Competing against top-ranked programs, the Celts delivered a strong showing, led by Landon Chau, who finished fifth overall to earn All-Tournament Team honors.
Final Round Performance
UST's "A" team entered the day in third place and fought to maintain their position. Landon Chau led the charge, closing the tournament at +2 after rounds of -5, +3, and +4. Antonio Ramirez delivered a stellar final round, finishing at +3 overall, highlighted by a three-under in the last 18 holes.
Jesus Del Aguila wrapped up at +14, while Marshall Hatcher ended at +14 as well, overcoming a tough final round. Cameron Curtis finished at +16, rounding out the Celts' top squad.
Meanwhile, the "B" team gained valuable tournament experience, with several solid performances across the two-day event.. Lawson Fiscus led the way, finishing at +5, followed by Jack Mitrovich, who ended at +7. Matthew VanHoy carded a +15, while Marshall Hatcher battled through tough conditions to close at +14.
