Men's Golf Jumps into 6th Place at Linda Lowrey Invitational

After a challenging start in the opening round, Men's Golf roared back with an impressive display in round two of the Linda Lowrey Invitational, surging up the leaderboard by an impressive five places to secure a commendable 6th place finish as the tournament drew to a close.

Antonio Ramirez spearheaded the Celt's charge towards improvement, delivering a standout performance with a remarkable 74 (+2) in the final round, significantly contributing to the team's lowered score.

The Lineup:

Freshman standout Antonio Ramirez showcased his talent with a stellar 74 (+2), shaving an impressive six strokes off his previous round. Ramirez's stellar performance on day two included an impressive tally of 14 pars and a crucial birdie, securing him a commendable 8th place overall.

Senior Cameron Curtis demonstrated resilience, improving his day one score by six strokes to finish with a solid 78 (+6) on day two. Curtis' round was highlighted by 5 pars and an exceptional six birdies, ensuring his presence among the contenders as he clinched 31st place.

Following closely behind, Marshall Hatcher delivered a steady performance with an 82 (+10) in the final round. Hatcher's day two effort included 8 pars and a well-earned birdie, earning him a respectable 32nd place overall.

Senior Patrick Smetek showcased remarkable improvement from day one, slashing his score by an impressive 13 strokes to finish with a commendable 76 (+4). Smetek's round featured 10 pars and 2 birdies, securing him 41st place.

Rounding out the lineup, Aydan Watson demonstrated grit and determination, improving his day one score to an 81 (+9) on day two, finishing in 47th place with six pars and two crucial birdies to his name.

Additionally, competing as an individual, Jason Roettgers delivered a solid performance with an 86 (+14) in the final round. Roettgers' round included 6 pars and a timely birdie, earning him 40th place in the standings.
