Celts Tie for Fourth

ROUND ROCK, Texas – The University of St. Thomas Men's Golf team wrapped up the Linda Lowery Invitational with a strong performance, finishing in a tie for fourth place after two competitive rounds at the Teravista Golf Club.

The Celts posted a team score of +21 across both rounds, improving their standing with a second-round total of +9. They matched Concordia (TX) in the final rankings, trailing third-place Texas A&M-San Antonio (+18) by just three strokes.

Leading the way for St. Thomas, Antonio Ramirez finished third overall at -3 after an opening-round 69 (-3) and an even-par 72 in round two. Marshall Hatcher, competing as an individual, climbed up the leaderboard with a second-round 70 (-2), finishing tied for ninth at +3.

Cameron Curtis also made a strong finish, shooting even-par (72) on day two to place tied for 20th at +7. Jesus Del Aguila, competing individually, ended tied for 23rd at +8, followed closely by Jack Mitrovich (+9, T25), Landon Chau (+10, T26), and Lawson Fiscus (+11, T29).

The Celts will now set their sights on the SCAC Championship, taking place April 13-15 in Whitney, Texas.
